The Lagos State Police Command on Thursday says it will not allow further protest in Lagos State.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi announced this on Thursday.
Olumuyiwa said, he got an information that some group of youths are planning to regroup for the #EndSARS protest.
He said, such protest either peaceful of violent will not be tolerated in the state as the federal government and the people of the state are still nuturing the wonds of the recent #EndSARS violence that erupted throughout the state.
In his word "The Lagos State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that, based on the information gotten from different agencies, some group of youths are planning to bring back the #EndSARS protest, they are planning to ignite another round of violence in Lagos state which is dangerous and counterproductive."
"Based on this, the Lagos State Police Command wishes to warn any individuals, groups or students who might want to start any form of protest, either peaceful or violent to desist from it. The security agencies will try by all means to resist any form of threats to life and prosperities."
Olumuyiwa further asked parents and guidance to discourage their children from any form of protest.
He pleaded with the general public not to adhere to any call to protest from any group or individuals.
