Sad! Man fights Yabatech for 41years, dies after achieving victory

It is so unfortunate as Sunday Oladele has breathed his last at the age of 72 after winning a vigorous battle with Yabatech

He is the first president of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS)

Today, the pioneer president of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has breathed his last after gaining victory over the war between him and Yabatech for four decades over his certificate being withheld.

Now the struggle

Oladele in 1980 alongside other students led the rebirth of the student movement from the proscribed National Union of Nigerian Students after the then military president Olusegun Obasanjo banned the student unionism.

Oladele and other students fought for the right of the students and later got problem with the institution.

He later had to fight with the institution for four decades before his certificate was released to him recently.

Oladele finally won his case with Yabatech and the Senate committee on ethics Privileges in June 2021 ordered that his certificate should be released to him immediately.
