After graduating with first class in Mathematics, this young man became a farmer because of unemployment
Things have never been easy for this young man, he had to sponsor himself through Polytechnic and University education.
His name is Emmanuel Nworie, his story is not a palatable one as he has to turn to a petty farmer after graduating with first class.
Emmanuel graduated with a CGPA of 4.92/5.00 from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Enugu State.
The 27 years old Emmanuel lost his Dad due to diabetes when he was in secondary school that is what made life difficult for him.
As a way to survive the hard economy of the country, he because a mathematics teacher in the school where he graduated from.
He was awarded the best Mathematics Olympiad teacher in Ebonyi State, his salary was just N12,705.40 per month.
He was able to fund his studies with this megal amount of money.
At University of Nigeria, he won a Gold Medal in a mathematics contest in 2018.
After his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), his primary place of assignment retained him as a teacher with a salary token of N35,000 only.
Moreover, due to the Lockdown when Covid-19 pandemic was spreading fast, he was forced to go back to his village in Ebonyi State to farm inorder for him to be able to sustain himself.
