Amnesty International (Human Right Group) has raised an alarm over the insensate killings and invation of homes by the Nigerian military personnel in Oyigbo Rivers State.
Report reaching Trunnion News is that, six soldiers and four police men were killed in Oyigbo.
Due to this recent development, men of the Nigerian army have intensified the security in Oyigbo thereby going from houses to residence to bring the pepertrators of this Illinois act to justice.
Human Right group, Amnesty International tweeted on 1st of November that they have been receiving disturbing reports from Oyigbo in Rivers State including allegations of soldiers invading people's houses and residence reportedly seeing dead bodies littered on the streets.
The security operatives who were slain in the attack were said to be killed by the "Indigenous People of Biafra" (IPOB) who also carted away with their Rifles. Maj. Charles who is the spokesman for the 6 Division, Nigerian Army Port Harcourt confirmed.
The Nigerian Army noted that they will continue the operation in the community until the pepertrators of this evil and aborminable act bring back the stolen Rifles.
Trunnion News gathered that Oyigbo has become a ghost town immediately the Nigerian Army began their operation to fish out those IPOB behind the killings of the Nigerian security personnel.
The residents of Oyigbo town were living in fear as soldiers blocked all the entrance in the community.
