Amid Covid-19 second wave, 200 couples ties the knot in Mass weeding in Anambra State

About 5000 people around the country gathered in a church to celebrate the new couples that got married.

On December 18th 2020, marriage ceremony was conducted by Saint Theresa's Catholic Church Uzoakwa Ihiala, Anambra State to hundreds of couples amid the second wave of Covid-19. 

At about 5000 people within and outside Nigeria joined to commensurate with the newly married couples.

Speaking in the ceremony is Most Reverend Michael Ukpong who described proper marriage as the one that shows unity in Christ and in Church.
