Joy in the family as a Nakuru man who got lost on his way to purchase rice returns home.

James Mwaura hails from Molo, Nakuru county, he is now 70 years old man, he disappeared 47 years ago but Facebook has helped him to find himself back to his family. All thanks to Facebook!

James went missing in the year 1974 when he was just 23 years old.

James lost his way in the process and found himself in Nairobi, with no money to go back home.

He then hop in a taxi which took him to Naro Moru in Nyeri county where he started his life and later got married to a lady he met in Naro Moru.

Trunnion News gathered that years later when he was scrolling through his Facebook like everyone else does, he stumbled on a familiar face.

He sent the person a message and the person luckily turned out to be one of his nephew.

The duo spiked up a conversation and agreed to meet on June 21st before the family reunion took place on Thursday.

James Mwaura who arrived home in a grand style wearing a blue suit told his family that he is happily married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
