According to what Cleveland clinic said, it is a Progeria is a rare generic disorder that causes infants to age rapidly.
Children with this disorder appears to be healthy at birth, but within the first two years of their life, they will start showing signs of rapid ageing.
In the city of Libode just outside of Mthatha in the Ortambo region in South Africa, on the 26th of June, the family of Mtshobi was seen giving the baby who was born into the family with a disorder called Progeria.

There was huge confusion in the family as this is the first time this kind of a thing is happening.
The grandmother of the 20-years-old mother identified as Ntombizakhe Mtshobi who is 55-years-old said that, the whole scenario is hard to comprehend, she said that she have never seen a two months old baby this old.
The mother of the ageing baby identified as Ongeziwe Mtshobi said that she wishes that the South African government would take her baby away.

Ongeziwe also disclosed that she needs mental health and phycological advise to deal with the situation on ground.
Trunnion News gathered that, Ongeziwe gave birth to the child at home but was later taken to Cleveland Clinic for further examination and evaluation after birth. It was then the Libode community got to know about the condition of the baby and the Progeria disorder.

The doctor said that, unfortunately, the disorder cannot be cured, it can only be monitored regularly if the blood vessels and heart are healthy.
Trunnion News gathered that the community is presently calling on the health department to intervene in this issue.
